Job summary

Michael Page, a leading Philippines-focused private equity firm based in Makati, is seeking a senior investment professional to originate, evaluate and execute opportunities aligned with its strategy.

You will lead financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and investment recommendation processes, while supporting transaction structuring and investor reporting. Strong finance background and leadership needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction services, or similar roles.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills; solid stakeholder management.

The Successful Applicant

Non-negotiables / Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction services, management consulting, corporate development, or strategic finance
• Strong preference for candidates from investment banking or Big 4 transaction services backgrounds
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Proven project management skills with the ability to independently lead workstreams
• Commercial and business acumen with strong stakeholder management capabilities
• Structured problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong research and market analysis capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and S&P Capital IQ (or similar platforms)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate work under tight deadlines
• Professional, dependable, accountable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Good-to-haves / Preferred

• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification
• Experience leading due diligence workstreams across commercial, financial, tax, legal, and ESG areas
• Exposure to transaction structuring and negotiation processes
• Experience preparing investor reports, fundraising materials, and board presentations
• Understanding of private equity portfolio value creation initiatives and post-acquisition planning
• Established network within investment, corporate, or advisory communities
