Job summary

Salmon Group is seeking an Investigation Officer to support fraud prevention and end-to-end case management across the organization. You will handle investigations, analyze digital and operational evidence, and work with internal teams to mitigate risks and support legal actions when needed.

Ideal candidates have a strong investigative mindset, attention to detail, and 3+ years in financial services or security environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminology or related four-year course.
• Law enforcement or military background preferred.
• At least 3 years of investigation experience, preferably in financing, banking, or security industries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages cases received via shared mailbox and hotline.
• Conducts initial investigations of cases triggered by other departments.
• Gathers data for end-to-end investigations across the organization.
• Provides technical support to investigations, litigation, and forensic analysis to collect and analyze digital evidence.
• Investigates assigned cases at various risk levels.
• Implements fraud prevention programs, policies, and investigation plans.
• Conducts covert and overt investigations and surveillance.
• Represents the company in prosecution and litigation as needed.
• Coordinates with internal departments for risk mitigation strategies.
• Manages business intelligence and related activities.

We are looking for an Investigation Officer to support fraud prevention and case management across the organization. In this role, you will handle end-to-end investigations, analyze digital and operational evidence, and work closely with internal teams to mitigate risks and support legal actions when needed. This position is ideal for someone with a strong investigative mindset, attention to detail, and experience in financial services or security environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manages cases received thru Shared Mailbox and Hotline.

• Conduct Initial Investigation of Cases Triggered or received from other departments.

• Ensure that all data were gathered for the following End to End investigation.

• Provides direct technical support to investigation, litigation, and forensic analyst to collect, preserves, process, analyze and interpret digital evidence from broad range of data available on open sources (social media, etc.).

• Investigate assigned cases at various risk levels.

• Implement fraud prevention and investigation programs, policies, systems, documentations, and investigation plans.

• Conduct covert and overt investigation.

• Conduct surveillance and counter-surveillance.

• Represent Company in the prosecution and litigation of cases as required.

• Coordinates with other Internal Departments for Risk Mitigation Strategy.

• Manages Business Intelligence (Mystery Shopping).

Requirements and expectations

• Bachelor’s degree in criminology or any related four year courses

• Law enforcement/Military background preferred.

• At least 3-year experience in Investigation preferably in Financing, Banking and Security Industry.

• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
