Responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts of all merchandise within the store. This includes accurately counting and recording stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and investigating any stock losses or damages.
• Maintain accurate inventory records. This includes updating inventory databases, processing stock transfers, and reconciling inventory records with point-of-sale (POS) data.
• Assist with the receiving and stocking of new merchandise. This includes unpacking shipments, verifying order accuracy, and properly shelving and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy. This includes the ability to count and record inventory accurately, identify discrepancies, and maintain meticulous records.
• Be proficient in using inventory management software and spreadsheets. This may include experience with Excel, Google Sheets, or other inventory tracking systems.
• Be physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy boxes and merchandise. This includes the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
