• An inventory clerk is responsible for managing and tracking a company’s inventory to ensure it is properly stocked and organized. Their job typically includes:
• Receiving and inspecting incoming inventory: Checking items for quality and accuracy against purchase orders or invoices.
• Recording and updating inventory levels: Using inventory management systems to monitor stock levels, track sales, and reorder items when necessary.
• Maintaining accurate records: Keeping detailed logs of inventory movement, including any discrepancies or damages.
