Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a detail-oriented Internal Audit Associate in the Philippines to help Management ensure that sales, collections, expenses, and inventory are accurate and properly accounted for. This hands-on role supports F&B and beauty-related businesses, with daily monitoring of transactions and independent reporting.

You will reconcile daily sales across channels, review expenses, monitor inventory movements, investigate variances, and maintain audit and monitoring reports.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Internal Auditing, Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Financial Management or related field.
• Experience in Internal Audit, Sales Audit, Revenue Audit, Inventory Audit/Control, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.
• Experience in F&B, restaurants/bars, retail, hospitality, clinics, beauty/wellness, or other high-transaction businesses is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation, inventory control, and basic accounting.
• Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile daily sales and collections across cash, POS, bank transfers, e-wallets and other payment channels.
• Review and validate daily expenses, purchases, and supporting documents.
• Monitor inventory movements, usage, purchases and stock balances.
• Perform regular inventory reconciliation and spot checks.
• Identify and investigate variances in sales, cash, expenses and inventory.
• Review discounts, voids, complimentary transactions, adjustments and unusual transactions.
• Maintain independent audit, sales, expense and inventory monitoring reports.
• Check compliance with internal controls, approval processes and procedures.
• Flag discrepancies, control weaknesses and unusual transactions to Management.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
• Recommend practical improvements to strengthen controls and minimize errors, losses and leakages.
• Perform other audit and business-control activities as required by Management.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Audit Associate who will help Management ensure that our sales, collections, expenses, inventory and other key business transactions are accurate, complete and properly accounted for.

This is a hands-on role supporting businesses in the F&B and aesthetic/beauty industries. You will independently monitor daily transactions, reconcile records, identify discrepancies and flag unusual activities directly to Management.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Graduate of Internal Auditing, Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Financial Management, or a related course

• Experience in Internal Audit, Sales Audit, Revenue Audit, Inventory Audit/Control, Accounting, or Finance is preferred

• Experience in F&B, restaurants/bars, retail, hospitality, clinics, beauty/wellness, or other high-transaction businesses is an advantage

• Strong understanding of reconciliation, inventory control, and basic accounting

• Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets

• Highly attentive to details and comfortable working with numbers

• Able to spot inconsistencies and investigate the reason behind variances

• Organized, trustworthy, objective, and able to handle confidential information

• Willing to work night shift or flexible hours when required, particularly for monitoring F&B operations
