As an Intermediate Auditor, you are the bridge between foundational testing and high-level strategy. This role is designed for a rising professional with a proven track record in Australian auditing who is ready to step into a leadership-track position. You will move beyond simple execution to lead audit sections independently, mentor the next generation of auditors, and translate complex data into clear, actionable findings for our global partners.
Your Impact
Independent Lead of Audit Sections: Take full ownership of critical audit segments, ensuring they are completed accurately and within strict Australian compliance windows. Apply your deep understanding of revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities to navigate complex financial landscapes with minimal supervision.
Architect of Professional Reporting: Draft sophisticated audit findings and conclusions that form the core of client reporting. Synthesize testing results into clear narratives that identify risks and provide high-level assurance.
Mentor and Quality Guardian: Play a pivotal role in team development by reviewing workpapers prepared by graduate auditors. Ensure all deliverables meet firm standards for accuracy and completeness while providing the constructive feedback necessary to elevate performance.
Strategic Communicator: Act as a key link between the audit team and international clients. Leverage strong communication skills to present findings effectively, ensuring a smooth audit process and fostering professional relationships.
What You Bring
The Experience: 2-3 years of dedicated Australian audit experience is mandatory.
The Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
Technical Mastery: A strong analytical mindset with a deep grasp of key audit areas and Australian accounting standards. You are comfortable drafting professional conclusions and possess the "reviewer's eye" needed to spot inconsistencies in junior work.
