Job summary

Wingman Group PTY LTD is seeking an Architectural Interiors / Interior Documentor to deliver precise construction-ready drawings for interior projects. You will translate concepts into detailed documentation and coordinate with architects, engineers, and clients.

This contract requires 5+ years of experience, Australian project exposure, and strong CAD/BIM skills (AutoCAD, Revit). Remote work on Australian interior and fit-out projects is supported, with strong focus on standards and schedules.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in architectural interiors or interior documentation.
Australian project experience is required.
Strong technical documentation and construction drawing skills.
Experience producing detailed interior plans, elevations, sections, joinery, and schedules.
Strong understanding of interior construction, materials, finishes, and detailing.
Knowledge of Australian construction practices and NCC/BCA requirements.
Ability to interpret architectural and interior design concepts and develop them into detailed documentation.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider project team.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed architectural interior and fit-out documentation from concept through construction.
Prepare floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, internal elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
Produce detailed joinery, cabinetry, kitchen, bathroom, and built-in furniture drawings.
Prepare finishes, materials, fixtures, fittings, and furniture documentation.
Translate design concepts into clear, construction-ready drawings.
Coordinate interior documentation with architectural, structural, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and other consultant drawings.
Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, constructability, and consistency.
Incorporate design changes, consultant comments, and client feedback into documentation.
Assist with material and finish selections and maintain accurate schedules.
Ensure documentation follows relevant Australian building standards, NCC/BCA requirements, and project specifications.
Maintain drawing standards, revisions, title blocks, and document control.
Communicate effectively with architects, designers, consultants, builders, and other project stakeholders.
Manage multiple documentation tasks and meet project deadlines.
Conduct quality checks to ensure drawings are accurate and ready for construction.
