Job summary

Nextgen Axis Construction Inc. is seeking an Interior Designer with strong 2D/3D floor plan skills to create precise layouts, sections, elevations, and shop drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and related tools.

You will design room layouts for residential or commercial spaces, select FF&E, and ensure designs comply with building codes and structural limits while coordinating with architects, contractors, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Background as an Interior Designer or similar field.
• Advanced AutoCAD skills and familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or Photoshop.
• Understanding of interior construction materials and millwork detailing.
• Strong communication to explain concepts and resolve site questions with clients and builders.
• Degree or formal qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or Drafting.

Responsibilities

• Create precise 2D and 3D floor plans, sections, elevations, and shop drawings using various software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, etc.)
• Design room layouts to optimize flow, safety, and function for residential or commercial spaces
• Choose colors, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that match the design concept
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure designs follow building codes and structural limits
