Job summary

scudl is seeking a Senior Integration Developer to work closely with stakeholders, architects, and PMs to develop new integrations, enhance existing ones, and provide ongoing support. You will design and build integration components, write Open API specs, and implement payload transformations to align with our canonical data model.

You will also ensure API versioning standards, write various tests, and maintain developer-portal specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4+ years' experience building integrations, ideally with Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and work with existing integration codebases and specifications.
• Solid understanding of API-led connectivity and event-driven architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Senior Integration Developer works closely with business stakeholders, architects, and project managers, and is responsible for developing new integrations, enhancing existing ones, and providing ongoing support.

1. Integration Development

• Design and build integration components using
• Write Open API specifications ahead of implementation (spec-first) and implement payload transformations to and from the canonical data model.
• Apply API versioning standards and ensure specifications are kept current on the developer portal.

2. Testing & Quality

• Write unit, integration, and contract tests covering happy path, validation errors, idempotency, and downstream failure scenarios.
• Ensure all integration work conforms to reference architecture standards and meets the requirements for sign-off prior to release.

3. Operations & Support

• Implement structured logging, correlation ID propagation, and mandatory log events.
• Troubleshoot and support integrations across development, test, and production environments.

4. Standards, Security & Collaboration

• Build and support integrations in line with the Integration Reference Architecture.
• Ensure integrations meet the platform's security and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, product owners, and architects to clarify requirements and design decisions.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
