Job summary

DXC Technology in Manila is seeking an Integration Architecture and Governance Architect to lead enterprise integration strategy and governance across APIs, messaging, iPaaS, and cloud-native platforms.

You will chair governance reviews, guide PoCs, and drive reuse of patterns while partnering with DXC delivery leadership and platform teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Application Integration Strategy and Architecture Leadership
• Define and evolve the Enterprise Application Integration service strategy, architecture principles, reference architectures, guardrails and target-state direction.
• Align integration technology roadmaps with business priorities, enterprise architecture direction and platform evolution.
• Provide architectural authority across API, messaging, streaming, MFT, iPaaS, SAP integration and cloud-native integration domains.
• Drive consistency, reuse, scalability, security and operational resilience across integration solutions.
• Governance Framework and Decision Authority
• Own the EAI governance framework, including design reviews, code reviews, test-results validation, risk assessments, compliance checks and exception management.
• Establish clear review criteria, approval gates, architecture decision records and evidence requirements.
• Ensure standards and best practices are created, maintained, communicated and applied consistently across platforms and delivery teams.
• Chair or lead architecture and governance review forums with architects, platform teams, application teams and business stakeholders.
• Integration Request Assessment and Technical Consulting
• Provide senior oversight for new integration assessments received through ServiceNow and ensure timely, fit-for-purpose recommendations.
• Guide requirement analysis, platform and pattern selection, non-functional considerations, security alignment and solution documentation.
• Review complex or high-risk recommendations and resolve cross-platform architecture decisions.
• Provide architecture advisory services for cloud, hybrid and on-premises integration scenarios.
• Proofs of Concept and Reusable Patterns
• Sponsor and govern proofs of concept for new technologies, patterns and complex integration scenarios.
• Approve PoC hypotheses, success criteria, architecture approach, risk controls and final recommendations.
• Ensure successful PoCs are converted into reusable templates, reference implementations and knowledge assets.
• Promote reuse to reduce duplicated design effort and improve delivery consistency.
• Innovation, AI and Governance Modernization
• Own the innovation portfolio for integration engineering and governance modernization.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for workflow automation, governance review automation, AI-assisted engineering and AI-driven compliance.
• Guide the development of accelerators, custom tools and automated controls using DevOps practices and appropriate coding technologies.
• Assess emerging integration tools and patterns and provide adoption recommendations based on value, risk and feasibility.
• Service Delivery and Stakeholder Leadership
• Act as the senior architecture and governance interface for the Global FMCG Company, DXC delivery leadership, enterprise architects and platform owners.
• Own governance effectiveness, service quality, risks, dependencies, escalations and executive-level reporting.
• Lead a globally distributed team of architects, consultants and analysts; provide technical direction, coaching and quality oversight.
• Align capacity and priorities across assessments, PoCs, standards, compliance reviews, innovation and reporting activities.
• Metrics, Reporting and Continual Improvement
• Define service KPIs, quality measures and governance outcomes, including request responsiveness, review lead time, compliance, pattern reuse and backlog health.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and governance reporting.
• Use performance data, trends and stakeholder feedback to improve processes, standards and service outcomes.
• Ensure ServiceNow and JIRA records provide sufficient traceability for requests, decisions, actions and deliverables.

• Timely initial engagement and completion of Enterprise Application Integration assessments in line with agreed service targets
• Consistent application of architecture and governance controls across design, code and test review gates
• Increased reuse of approved patterns, templates and reference implementations
• Improved quality, traceability and predictability of integration architecture decisions
• Measurable adoption of automation and AI-enabled improvements where feasible and approved
• Effective management of service risks, dependencies, stakeholder expectations and delivery performance

Qualifications

• 7-10 years years of enterprise integration architecture experience, with substantial leadership accountability across multiple integration technologies.
• 7-10 years leading integration architecture organizations, governance functions or Centers of Excellence.
• Demonstrated ownership of enterprise integration strategy across APIs, messaging, event streaming, MFT/B2B, iPaaS, SAP integration and cloud integration.
• Deep expertise in at least one strategic integration platform and strong working knowledge across several others in the technology scope.
• Proven ability to establish and govern architecture principles, enterprise standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns and technology roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of API-led, event-driven, messaging, cloud-native and hybrid integration architectures.
• Experience establishing KPI-driven delivery and architecture governance frameworks.
• Executive-level consulting, facilitation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams and multi-region service delivery.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps, security architecture, observability, resilience and service management practices.
• Ability to identify innovation opportunities and drive practical adoption of automation and AI-assisted engineering.
• Strong portfolio, capacity, risk and financial management skills.
