Job summary

Frabelle Corporation in the Philippines is seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer to inspect and monitor plant electro-mechanical and electrical controls, and to maintain machine equipment.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and modify electrical designs, collaborate with the Plant Electrician, and provide technical assistance for production operations while complying with Food Safety, GMP, SSOP and HACCP guidelines. Willingness to work abroad is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years similar experience in a production plant setting.
• Knowledgeable in Instrumentation Engineering and able to interpret electrical designs.
• Troubleshooting, maintenance and repair in a plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all plant electro-mechanical instruments controls, electrical controls and machine equipment.
• Monitors performance of all plant electro-mechanical instruments controls, electrical controls and machine equipment.
• Responds to problem calls on performance of electro-mechanical instruments controls, electrical controls and machine equipment;
• Maintains and replaces defective parts of electro-mechanical instruments controls, electrical controls and machine equipment.
• Check-up/repairs/servicing electro-mechanical instruments controls, electrical controls and machine equipment.
• Calibrates/check-up electronic control instruments of machines bought abroad to suit local or plant conditions.
• Repair of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Modify electrical designs and simplify the flow of electricity.
• Works hand in hand with the Plant Electrician.
• Finish all necessary jobs, repairs for production operation.
• Technical assistance to other plant’s electrical requirement.
• Compliance to company policies and procedures, as well as to Food Safety, GMP, SSOP and HACCP guidelines.
• Ability to interpret
