About the Role

CITE Technical Institute, Inc., a values-driven school serving the youth from lower-income communities, is looking for a Math and Science Instructor/Teacher to join our dedicated academic team in Cebu City. This role is ideal for educators and professionals with a strong background in engineering, science, or mathematics who want to make a meaningful impact through technical education.

As an instructor, you will not only teach core concepts in mathematics and science but also help nurture human virtues and industry-relevant skills among our students—many of whom are scholars preparing to enter engineering-related fields such as civil, electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering, or pursue careers in science education (physics/chemistry).

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in mathematics and/or science (physics or chemistry) tailored to vocational learners in STEM-related programs.

  • Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with CITE’s academic standards and industry needs.

  • Support students’ academic progress through mentoring, individualized instruction, and classroom management strategies.

  • Participate in values formation activities that promote the development of personal responsibility, work ethic, and integrity.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to continuous curriculum and program improvement.

  • Engage in professional development and stay updated with current trends in technical education and pedagogy.

What We’re Looking For
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer), Science Education, or related fields.

  • Professional or Teaching Experience: Experience in teaching or industry work is preferred, especially in technical or vocational education settings, but not required.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Strong command of mathematics and/or science subjects with the ability to simplify complex concepts for learners.

  • Teaching Skills: Effective classroom management, strong communication, and student-centered instructional methods.

  • Mission Alignment: Genuine desire to uplift underprivileged youth through education, and openness to values-based formation.

  • Team Spirit: Willingness to collaborate, innovate, and grow within a dynamic academic environment.

What We Offer
  • The opportunity to shape the lives of underprivileged youth through technical education and values formation.

  • A mission-oriented work environment that fosters both personal and professional development.

  • Access to continuous training, including management upgrading and re-skilling opportunities.

  • A competitive salary and benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

  • A supportive community that values spiritual formation, integrity, and service.
