CITE Technical Institute, Inc., a values-driven school serving the youth from lower-income communities, is looking for a Math and Science Instructor/Teacher to join our dedicated academic team in Cebu City. This role is ideal for educators and professionals with a strong background in engineering, science, or mathematics who want to make a meaningful impact through technical education.
As an instructor, you will not only teach core concepts in mathematics and science but also help nurture human virtues and industry-relevant skills among our students—many of whom are scholars preparing to enter engineering-related fields such as civil, electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering, or pursue careers in science education (physics/chemistry).
Deliver engaging and effective lessons in mathematics and/or science (physics or chemistry) tailored to vocational learners in STEM-related programs.
Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with CITE’s academic standards and industry needs.
Support students’ academic progress through mentoring, individualized instruction, and classroom management strategies.
Participate in values formation activities that promote the development of personal responsibility, work ethic, and integrity.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to continuous curriculum and program improvement.
Engage in professional development and stay updated with current trends in technical education and pedagogy.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer), Science Education, or related fields.
Professional or Teaching Experience: Experience in teaching or industry work is preferred, especially in technical or vocational education settings, but not required.
Subject Matter Expertise: Strong command of mathematics and/or science subjects with the ability to simplify complex concepts for learners.
Teaching Skills: Effective classroom management, strong communication, and student-centered instructional methods.
