Job Summary
The Installer is responsible for the efficient, safe, and high-quality installation of products and equipment at client sites. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Installations:
- Install, assemble, or mount products and equipment according to specifications, drawings, and instructions.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and client requirements.
- Site Preparation:
- Inspect and prepare job sites before installation.
- Verify measurements and ensure materials and tools are ready for use.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety guidelines and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Identify potential hazards and report unsafe conditions promptly.
- Customer Interaction:
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers during on-site visits.
- Explain installation procedures and ensure customer satisfaction upon completion.
- Equipment & Tools:
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and materials in good working condition.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Complete installation checklists, reports, and required documentation accurately.
- Take before-and-after photos as needed for project records.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assist other installers or technicians as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues promptly.
- Inventory & Materials:
- Track and manage materials used at each job site.
- Report shortages, damages, or missing parts immediately based on the checklist provided by Project Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
- Proven experience as an installer, technician, or similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or construction principles.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if applicable).
- Physically able to lift, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
- Travel to customer sites.
