Job summary

RINA is recruiting a site Inspector/Surveyor for supervision on a 24-month gas detection system installation project in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India. The role focuses on TPI, QA/QC, documentation and certification activities on site.

Engineering degree with 5+ years (or diploma with 10+ years) in relevant fields is required, with experience in onshore oil & gas projects and readiness to supervise multiple discipline works including instrumentation, electrical, civil/structural and piping.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree with 5+ years relevant experience or Engineering Diploma with 10+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in TPI / QA-QC and onshore Oil & Gas projects.
• Ability to supervise site activities and review quality documentation (ITP/ITR/QMP/QAP/QCP).

Responsibilities

• Inspect installation, fabrication, testing and commissioning activities.
• Review ITP, ITR, QMP, QAP, QCP and quality documentation.
• Verify materials, equipment and workmanship against drawings/specifications.
• Monitor welding, NDT, dimensional inspection, coating and related activities.
• Inspect Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil/Structural and Mechanical/Piping works as required.
• Witness FAT/SAT, testing and calibration activities.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain site records.
• Monitor progress, quality and safety compliance.
• Track and close NCRs and punch points; support commissioning.
• Verify as-built drawings and site measurements.

Job Summary
