As an Insights Manager, you will work with a team of industry insights experts to support clients with business‑decision analysis and insights on industries, markets, and consumers using NIQ data and tools.
Responsibilities
- Master proprietary NIQ tools and metrics to solve clients' business questions.
- Work closely with CS Consultants to transform customer experience.
- During briefing sessions, independently respond to business questions and develop analytical outlines that leverage multiple NIQ solutions into a cohesive story.
- Simplify and visualize data, translating numbers into compelling stories with actionable recommendations.
- Prepare and present insights following Academy Silver-level standards, using SCQA and AP efficiently.
- Drive customer satisfaction through the delivery of relevant and impactful insights.
- Identify revenue leads independently and partner with AD to convert them into revenue opportunities.
- Execute firmly based on the service model.
- Remove roadblocks proactively when they arise.
- Lead by example, guiding and coaching junior members.
- Champion initiatives within the business unit, guiding peers and meeting related KPIs.
- Lead Thought Leadership Projects.
- Ensure client briefs are completed thoroughly; ask probing questions and support juniors in the same manner.
- Ensure hub briefing documents are complete and clarify with in‑market teams; guide juniors accordingly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, and market research.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior experience with NIQ (or similar) solutions, including POS/Panel Data, is preferred.
- Proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and incorporating all relevant NIQ data sources (RMS, Homescan, Omni, Spectra, etc.).
- Proficiency in utilizing Discover and mitigating client concerns and roadblocks to drive usage.
- Ability to coach others in data analysis and use of NIQ tools.
- Curious mindset with a passion for building data‑driven stories.
- Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Slides.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Digital savvy and ability to learn concepts, tools, and analyses rapidly.
