Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models for various NLP tasks, including text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, machine translation, and question answering.
• Preprocess and clean large volumes of text data, performing feature engineering and selection.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and iterate on models to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in NLP and machine learning.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate ML models into production systems.
• Develop and maintain robust code and documentation for ML pipelines and models.
• Experiment with different deep learning architectures (e.g., Transformers, RNNs, LSTMs) for NLP problems.
• Contribute to the ethical considerations and bias mitigation in NLP models.
• Present findings and model results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in developing and deploying NLP models.
• Strong proficiency in Python and core ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Deep understanding of NLP techniques, algorithms, and frameworks (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and their applications.
• Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps is a plus.
