Job summary

ACEN is seeking a lead IT security governance professional to drive Security by Design and Zero Trust across networks and systems. You will configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, and related tools while monitoring threats through SIEM platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• 10 years of overall IT experience.
• 2 years in IT Security Governance.
• 3 years hands-on experience with security tools.
• 2 years in network infrastructure and design.
• 1 year of forensic experience.
• Proactive, analytical, and inquisitive mindset.
• Experience supporting internal and external audit activities.
• Vendor management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Security by Design and Zero Trust principles across networks, systems, and controls.
• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cybersecurity infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, EDR, and other security technologies.
• Monitor systems, networks, and SIEM platforms to detect threats, analyze alerts, identify vulnerabilities, and implement preventive measures.
• Manage security incidents through investigation, containment, mitigation, and remediation while recommending improvements to management.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and risk analysis, ensuring compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and other security standards.
• Develop security policies, procedures, and awareness programs while leveraging automation to improve security operations and incident response.

• Willing and able to provide support or respond to critical matters outside regular office hours, as needed.
