Job summary

Optum Philippines in Makati seeks an IT Audit professional to lead assessments, develop test steps, and document findings with clear remediation plans. You will interpret results, collaborate with business partners on IT security risks, and deliver final reports under established frameworks.

The role requires a 4+ year track record in IT audit, strong knowledge of IT security concepts, and excellent communication skills to work with diverse teams. Health insurance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
• Relevant IT certification(s) such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
• 4+ years of IT and audit experience, preferably in health insurance.
• Strong understanding of IT security and internal controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with teams.

Primary Responsibilities

• Leads projects with minimal supervision and demonstrates technical proficiency for assigned assessments
• Works with team member to develop test steps, when applicable
• Executes test steps in accordance with the applicable framework, providing clear and concise testing documentation for review
• Interprets testing results and formulate conclusions based on assessment of control findings and root cause analysis results
• Works with business partners to present and validate potential issues and IT security risks and facilitates the development of appropriate remediation plans
• Executes scoping and planning activities, performs detailed procedures and develops final report
• Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
• Provides explanations and information to others on complex issues and performs complex conceptual analysis
• Taking ad hoc activities to continuously improve the program
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience
• Relevant IT certification(s) (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPT, CSFP, ISA, CIA, etc.)
• 4+ years of relevant IT and audit experience
• Health or related insurance experience
• Understanding of IT security and internal control concepts and their practical application
• Proven solid interpersonal skills while working effectively with a team
• Proven solid oral and written communication skills
• Proven desire to make a positive impact with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities
• Proven resourceful
