Job summary

MediCard Phils., Inc. is seeking an Information Security Governance Consultant to protect MediCard’s information assets by developing and managing security policies, procedures, and technologies.

The role focuses on confidentiality, integrity, and availability while supporting business continuity and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in managing security technologies like firewalls and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Develop MediCard's information technology security procedures and overall cyber security framework
• Evaluate, test, recommend, coordinate, monitor and maintain IT security policies, procedures and systems including access management for both hardware and software
• Design, implement and troubleshoot information systems and cyber security software to identify security risks and exposures
• Determine the causes of security violations and suggest procedures to halt future incidents
• Investigate and resolve security incidents such as intrusion, frauds, cyber attacks or data leakage
• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability tests, and audits to identify and mitigate potential security weaknesses
• Ensure the organization complies with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards
• Addresses audit findings
• Other duties as assigned

Information Security Governance Consultant is responsible for protecting MediCard’s information assets by developing, implementing, and managing security policies, procedures, and technologies. Also acts as the guardian of MediCard’s digital assets, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information while supporting business continuity and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 3-5 years proven related experience

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks

• Problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex security challenges.

Work Location: AIA Head Office, Makati City

Work Set-Up: Hybrid, 3-4 days onsite per week
