Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical technology preferred.
• Licensed or certified electrician (as required by local regulations).
• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using testing equipment and technical drawings.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical components.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Install and maintain motors, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Replace or repair defective electrical components, wiring, switches, and circuit breakers.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Test electrical systems and verify proper operation after repairs or installations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare service reports.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and production staff to minimize equipment downtime.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other workplace safety requirements.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform repairs as needed.
