Join us as an Industrial Electrician at Westwood Law Firm. In this role you will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems in industrial settings, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Install new electrical systems and components, including wiring, conduits, and control panels.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions.
- Identify and resolve complex electrical problems using technical documents and tools.
- Test electrical systems and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Adhere to all relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical system layouts.
- Work with various control systems, such as PLCs.

- Strong understanding of electrical principles, wiring practices, and electrical codes.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.

Education & Experience
- High‑school diploma or GED (an associate’s degree may be preferred).
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
- Previous industrial experience is preferred.
- Journeyman license often required or preferred.
- Technical skills: electrical knowledge, blueprint reading, hand and power tool proficiency.
- Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- May need to climb, lift, and work in confined spaces.
Other Skills
- Knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Teamwork and independent work capability.
- Motivation and willingness to stay updated on industry developments.
