Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of taxation or relevant experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts).
• Working knowledge of International Indirect Taxation (Sales + VAT) is an advantage.
• Ability to provide written/verbal tax advice and practical recommendations.
• Knowledge in emerging tax technologies.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing data in Microsoft Office (SharePoint).
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tax relevant financial, internal and external reporting requirements.
• Actively involved in specific geographical region's tax planning and direction, team strategy, and stakeholder management.
• Maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and Operating Companies.
• Manage projects to meet timelines and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Internal and external performance reporting.
• Individual performance and career management.
• Supervise a small team of Tax of Excellence Specialists and Analysts.
• Lead tax process improvements projects, which may include software implementation, automation, or workpaper improvement and ongoing continuous process improvement.
• Evaluate, implement and maintain emerging tax technologies.
