Job summary

EuroAsia Executive Search Inc. in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila seeks a detail-oriented typesetter and book-layout specialist to support clients across genres in a fast-paced publishing environment.

You will handle typesetting and layout per client specs, perform proofreading and quality checks, work with novels, children's books, and academic texts, and manage production steps from template creation to prepress checks using Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant experience, preferably in publishing.
• Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat; Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of typography, layouts, and book production.
• Familiar with InDesign features: INDB, TOC, Indexing, Cross References, Footnotes/Endnotes, and Text Variables.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Flexible with different book layouts and formats.
