Job summary

Candy Corner Philippines Inc. is seeking an Accountant to maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities and ensure regulatory compliance in the Philippines.

The role supports management decisions through reliable reporting and oversees government filings, tax compliance, and POS e-Sales reporting. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, CPA is a plus, with 2–3 years of general accounting experience in multi-entity environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy; CPA an advantage.
• Minimum 2-3 years of general accounting experience; multi-entity environments preferred.
• Proficient in BIR eFPS / eBIRForms filing system.
• Knowledgeable in BIR Form 2307 preparation and CWT computation.
• Familiar with SSS, PhilHealth, and HDMF online portals.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Experience with BIR e-Sales / POS compliance is an advantage.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines across entities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate and reliable Financial Statements on or before the 10th day of the following month.
• Perform monthly General Ledger reconciliation and resolve discrepancies; entities covered: AHC, KSM, CHI, B2R2, CIDI.
• Ensure timely processing of import-related transactions and coordinate required documentation for import payments.
• Compile, organize, and provide documents for BIR LOA examinations with complete and accurate records.
• File VAT, EWT, WT, QIT, EPOS, Alpha List, AFS, SSS, HDMF and PhilHealth reports on time.
• File e-Sales data through the BIR portal and validate POS data for CHI.
• Prepare BIR Form 2307 during APV processing and ensure withholding rates per regulations; entities covered: AHC, B2R2, CIDI, KSM.
