Job summary

SAS is seeking an Implementation Project Manager to lead enterprise software implementations as the primary customer liaison, owning end-to-end delivery across scope, schedule, resources, budget, governance, risk, quality, and customer satisfaction.

This role focuses on defining engagement governance, staffing, milestones, and ensuring delivery excellence while maintaining strong customer relationships and financial controls.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of project management experience in application development or enterprise software implementation.
• Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative discipline.
• Demonstrated ownership of project governance, delivery, customer relationships, risk, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex enterprise software implementations as the primary customer liaison.
• Own end-to-end delivery across scope, schedule, resources, budget, governance, risk, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Define the implementation, staffing, delivery approach, milestones, and governance model for each engagement.
• Control scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and deliverables to meet contractual commitments.
• Act as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
• Establish effective governance, change control, and delivery oversight.
• Own budgets, expenses, revenue forecasts, invoicing, receivables, and subcontractor costs.
• Contribute to quarterly revenue and margin targets and provide accurate progress, cost, and revenue forecasts.
• Deliver successful outcomes through project health checks, quality oversight, and customer satisfaction management.
• Complete project closeout, documentation, lessons learned, and skills inventory updates.
• Support regional consulting strategy, operational excellence, reusable frameworks, service offerings, staff development, and revenue growth.

We are seeking an Implementation Project manager to Lead complex enterprise software implementations as the primary customer liaison, owning end-to-end delivery across scope, schedule, resources, budget, governance, risk, quality, and customer satisfaction in line with SAS standards and business objectives.

This is an opportunity to lead enterprise software engagements from initiation through closeout, integrating delivery governance, customer leadership, financial control, risk management, and quality oversight.

As an Implementation Project Manager, you will:

Project Management and Governance

• Define the implementation, staffing, delivery approach, milestones, and governance model for each engagement.
• Control scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and deliverables to meet contractual commitments.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
• Build trusted relationships and maintain strong customer satisfaction.

Governance and Risk Management

• Establish effective governance, change control, and delivery oversight.
• Assess and mitigate risks, particularly for financially significant, subcontracted, or new-solution projects.

Financial Accountability

• Own budgets, expenses, revenue forecasts, invoicing, receivables, and subcontractor costs.
• Contribute to quarterly revenue and margin targets and provide accurate progress, cost, and revenue forecasts.

Customer Success and Quality

• Deliver successful outcomes through project health checks, quality oversight, and customer satisfaction management.
• Complete project closeout, documentation, lessons learned, and skills inventory updates.

Practice and Organizational Contribution

• Support regional consulting strategy, operational excellence, reusable frameworks, service offerings, staff development, and revenue growth.

Required qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of project management experience in application development or enterprise software implementation, including leadership of multiple workstreams.
• Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative discipline
• Demonstrated ownership of project governance, delivery, customer relationships, risk, and financial performance.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, organisation, problem-solving, and influencing capabilities.

Preferred qualifications:

• Working understanding of solution architecture and Data Management, Analytics, AI, Fraud, or Risk solutions; Banking or Financial Services experience preferred.
• PMP Certification
