Job summary

Sun Life Philippines is seeking an AML/ABAC focused professional to support the Compliance team in daily AML and ABAC tasks. The role involves analysis, investigation, and report writing to strengthen regulatory adherence.

Work closely with the AML Compliance Head and BUCO to ensure timely delivery of AML/ABAC mandates, and participate in continuous improvement programs. Strong writing, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

At least a 4-year university degree.
AML and ABAC certification is a plus but not required.
2–3 years' work experience in financial services with AML/ABAC exposure.
Experience with AML/ABAC assignments or projects in financial institutions.
Good understanding of AML/ABAC laws or regulations.
Familiar with insurance, asset management and/or investment operations.
Good writing and communication skills.
Proactive, self-reliant and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Timely investigates AML transaction monitoring and name screening alerts via the automated AML system.
Investigates suspicious transactions from alerts and escalated cases from other units.
Assists AML Compliance Head or BUCO on tasks including ABAC matters.
Ensures delivery of work within set turnaround times and in line with AML/ABAC policies.
Escalates AML/ABAC concerns to the AML Compliance Head or BUCO.
