Descrizione del lavoro

The Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) invites applications for IKM Business Service Provider to support the implementation of the Project’s annual monitoring and data collection activities, particularly the collection, validation, and documentation of quantitative and qualitative information from RIISA-supported Smallholder Farmers (SHFs), Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and other project clients and partners, as applicable.

BACKGROUND

Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA), with support from the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada (GAC), is implementing the Resilience and Inclusion through Investment for Sustainable Agrikultura (RIISA) Project in the Philippines.

The Project works to improve the productivity, income, resilience, and economic participation of cacao smallholder farmers and enterprises, particularly women and other groups that may experience barriers to participation in economic opportunities. RIISA also promotes gender equality and social inclusion, environmentally sustainable and climate-resilient practices, responsible investment, and stronger market systems in communities vulnerable to economic, climate, and conflict-related risks.

RIISA seeks to contribute to improved economic resilience and inclusive economic opportunities among smallholder farmers (SHFs), cooperatives, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and other market actors in the cacao sector, particularly in Mindanao. The project integrates gender equality and social inclusion, environment and climate change, human rights, market systems development, and gender responsive/environmental, social and governance approaches into its interventions.

The Project will undertake two major Impact and Knowledge Management activities in January to May 2027:

  1. FY6 Annual Survey, which will generate updated evidence on project performance against outcome and selected output indicators; and
  2. Final Evaluation, which will assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, impact or emerging impact, gender equality and social inclusion results, environmental performance, and key lessons generated during project implementation.

To ensure these activities are implemented in a timely, systematic, credible, and coordinated manner, MEDA intends to engage an Impact & Knowledge Management Service Provider to partly manage the Annual Survey Data Collection, Processing, Analysis and Narrative Reporting from January to April, as well as lead the process of conducting RIISA Project Final Evaluation from Mid March to early June 2027.
