Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
• Proven expertise as ICT/telecommunications/low‑voltage systems engineer.
• Written and spoken English B1 or higher.
• Experience in ICT design including structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and security systems.
• Experience designing low‑voltage systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience using BIM modeling tools and design software.
• Hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit.
• Multidisciplinary engineering environments experience.
• Understanding of telecom standards and low‑voltage codes.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate ICT and low‑voltage systems including structured cabling, telecommunications, access control, CCTV and security.
• Model and coordinate ICT systems with other disciplines using Autodesk Revit.
• Understand and deliver project requirements related to scope, cost, and schedule.
• Determine and expeditе engineering deliverables for projects.
• Develop and maintain project scope of work documentation and revisions during design development.
• Prepare engineering calculations, system layouts, and technical documentation for ICT infrastructure.

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled ICT Engineer as an independent contract worker to support the design and coordination of cutting‑edge data center projects across the U.S. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and coordination of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems, including structured cabling, telecommunications infrastructure, security systems, access control, video surveillance, and other low‑voltage systems critical to data center operations. You will prepare technical documentation, perform engineering calculations, develop system layouts, and ensure design accuracy using BIM and ICT engineering tools. The role involves close collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and BIM teams in a multidisciplinary environment, contributing to the full project lifecycle from schematic design through construction documentation and coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Designing and coordinating ICT and low‑voltage systems including structured cabling, telecommunications, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and security systems.
• Using BIM tools to model and coordinate ICT systems with other engineering disciplines using Autodesk Revit – a must.
• Developing a thorough understanding and delivery of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost, and schedule.
• Determining and expediting the engineering deliverables for projects.
• Developing and maintaining project scope of work documentation and revisions during design development.
• Preparing engineering calculations, system layouts, and technical documentation for ICT infrastructure.
• Preparing technical documentation required for project execution including design criteria, technical specifications, and equipment data sheets.
