Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to oversee operation and maintenance of PLC, instrumentation, and control systems across Ampohaw and Irisan hydro facilities. You will work with O&M to deliver reliable plant performance and drive continuous improvement in I&C reliability.

The role emphasizes calibration, data analytics, RCA, and coordination with IT for SCADA and network integration, with a focus on safety and asset optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical facilities with industrial I&C.
• Experience in hydro power projects and substation maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PLC, instrumentation, and control systems and ensure calibration schedules.
• Analyze data to identify failure patterns and improve reliability.
• Lead installation, integration, and commissioning of I&C equipment.
• Coordinate with IT and plant engineers for SCADA/PLC connectivity.
• Oversee safe maintenance with LOTO compliance and documentation.
