Egis Group is seeking an experienced Hydrology Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. The role emphasizes water resource assessment, modeling, and regulatory compliance for international projects.

Qualifications

3–5 years of hydrology engineering experience in the UK or Canada.
Expertise in hydrological modeling, analysis, and water resource assessment.
Proficiency with HEC-HMS or MIKE HYDRO and GIS.
Strong knowledge of groundwater and surface water systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive hydrological assessments for water resource management.
Develop, calibrate, and validate hydrological models to simulate watershed behavior.
Perform hydraulic design for water infrastructure projects and flood systems.
Prepare detailed technical reports for stakeholders and regulators.
Assess environmental impacts and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
Collaborate with civil engineers, environmental specialists, and PMs.
Utilize GIS and hydrological software for spatial analysis.
Review hydrological data from monitoring stations and field work.
Support project planning, scheduling, and budget management.
