Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hydrology engineering experience in the UK or Canada.
  • Expertise in hydrological modeling, analysis, and water resource assessment.
  • Proficiency with HEC-HMS or MIKE HYDRO and GIS.
  • Strong knowledge of groundwater and surface water systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive hydrological assessments for water resource management.
  • Develop, calibrate, and validate hydrological models to simulate watershed behavior.
  • Perform hydraulic design for water infrastructure projects and flood systems.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports for stakeholders and regulators.
  • Assess environmental impacts and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers, environmental specialists, and PMs.
  • Utilize GIS and hydrological software for spatial analysis.
  • Review hydrological data from monitoring stations and field work.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and budget management.
  • Stay current with advancements in hydrological science
