AboitizPower Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Technician to maintain turbines and related mechanical systems in our hydro power facility. You will monitor conditions, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and assist in commissioning and rehabilitation work under the Mechanical Engineer’s guidance.

You will also document readings, support RCA analysis, and ensure proper material and tool readiness for scheduled outages.

Qualifications

• At least technical/vocational graduate.
• At least one year of experience in repair and maintenance of turbines/hydro plants.
• Certified Plant Mechanic (CPM) is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine condition and components for reliable plant operation.
• Inspect turbine parts, bearings, and mechanical systems daily.
• Record readings (vibration, temperature, lubrication) for predictive maintenance.
• Assist in installation, alignment, testing, and rehabilitation of turbine-generator sets.
• Coordinate with Plant Engineer during shutdowns for safe, efficient work.
