Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Construction Planner to develop and manage construction programs for hydropower projects, with proven experience in underground works. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Hydropower construction programming experience.
• Proven experience planning underground works, including tunnels.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing, and project controls.
• Experience on major infrastructure or hydropower projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction schedules and execution programs for hydropower projects.
• Prepare project master schedules, work programs, and construction sequences.
• Plan major civil, structural, electromechanical, and underground construction activities.
• Develop construction programs for tunnels and other underground works.
• Establish activity durations, logic, milestones, interfaces, and resource requirements.
• Monitor construction progress against approved schedules.
• Identify schedule delays, critical-path activities, and potential bottlenecks.
• Develop recovery and mitigation schedules where required.
• Coordinate construction planning with engineering, procurement, contractors, and project management teams.
• Prepare progress reports, schedule updates, and management recommendations.
