Job description
Responsibilities
  • Assembling hydraulic systems for heavy machinery or specialized applications, ensuring components are correctly aligned and functioning seamlessly.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify wear, leaks, or performance issues, and using advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot system failures effectively.
  • Replacing faulty parts, including hoses, valves, pumps, and cylinders, and rebuilding hydraulic systems to extend their lifespan and improve efficiency.
  • Maintaining optimal fluid levels and ensuring the use of compatible hydraulic oils, monitoring for contamination, and replacing fluids when necessary.
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain hydraulic hoses, fitting connectors, and oil pipelines to prevent leaks and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide assistance in the general upkeep of vehicle's hydraulic and other mechanical components.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance programs to avoid downtime.
Qualifications
  • College level or Vocational course graduate
  • At least two (2) years of related work experience
  • With strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Must know how to drive and with a valid professional driver’s license
  • Knowledgeable in repairs and maintenance of various types of vehicles and heavy equipment
  • Reliable, meticulous, and safety conscious
  • Basic computer skills is an advantage
