Job summary

APEM Philippines is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Fitter to install, troubleshoot, and maintain hydraulic systems on mobile equipment. The role requires reading hydraulic schematics and assembly drawings, fitting metal parts, and performing precise repairs with attention to safety and quality.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in hydraulics, familiar with hand and power tools, and able to follow safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent; vocational/technical hydraulics preferred.
• At least 1 year experience in hydraulic fitting, hydraulic system maintenance, or mechanical assembly in an industrial setting.
• Able to read hydraulic schematics, system diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Skilled in fitting fabricated metal parts and assembling mechanical/hydraulic sub-assemblies.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in hydraulic assembly and repair.
• Knowledge of proper use of hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic testing equipment.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic safety practices and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Fitting mobile equipment hydraulic systems.
• Determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain fluid power components and systems.
• Identify and repair fluid power components such as pumps, cylinders, valves, reservoir accessories, motors, accumulators, hose, fittings and filtration systems.
• Safely perform maintenance work on hydraulic systems and related equipment to client satisfaction.
• Fit fabricated metal parts into products and assemble sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment.
• Follow all safe work practices, including proper PPE usage.

1.Education

2.Experience

At least 1 year experience in hydraulic fitting, hydraulic system maintenance, or mechanical assembly in an industrial or fabrication environment.

3.Knowledge and Skills

Able to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, system diagrams, and assembly drawings.

Skilled in fitting fabricated metal parts and assembling mechanical/ hydraulic sub-assemblies.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy in hydraulic system assembly and repair.

Knowledge of proper use of hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic testing equipment.

Basic understanding of hydraulic safety practices and proper PPE usage.
