Job summary

WPP is looking to strengthen its Treasury team by hiring an Analyst Accountant to support daily cash operations and ensure accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities include daily bank transaction analysis, cash collection reporting, and posting entries across Balance Sheet and P&L. The role requires intermediate English and a finance/accounting background, with a hybrid work setup in which four days are in-office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong Excel skills: pivot tables, data analysis, formulas.
• High level of accuracy, responsibility, and confidentiality.
• Proactive mindset with good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Previous experience in an international environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of cash pooling operations is a plus.
• Intermediate level of English for HQ communication.

Responsibilities

• Extract and analyze daily bank transactions and reconcile assigned accounts.
• Provide daily reporting of cash collections.
• Post accounting entries for outstanding items using Balance Sheet, P&L and customer/vendor accounts.
• Upload payment proposals into banking platforms for sign-off.
• Support agencies with payment confirmations and audit documentation.
• Prepare the weekly Cash Report with closing balances by bank account.
• Manage large financial data sets using Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
