Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a QA Engineer (Manual / Automated) in Makati City, Manila. This role sits within a dynamic software and funds management environment, reporting to the Test Manager.

The successful candidate will perform functional, regression, and automation testing, contributing to both legacy and new PAXUS product streams. You will work with Development and Business Analysis teams, balancing hands-on testing with automation initiatives and ensure quality across multi-region projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of qualified experience in a test analyst role or finance/accounting discipline.
• Proven passion for software development and strong interest in the Financial Services industry.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn new testing tools and methodologies; flexible hours for urgent issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete functional system, regression testing and parallel testing of all product enhancements, fixes and projects.
• Conduct regular manual and automated regression testing of planned upgrade releases.
• Assist in developing test automation suites using various tools.
• Provide ad-hoc feedback on business requirements / technical design documents.
• Offer ad-hoc support and consultancy to internal and external clients.
