Job summary

Prudential in the Philippines is seeking a BA Lead to head a hybrid team of Business Analysts and QA professionals (10+ members) within the Engineering and Business Analysis Team. The role ensures alignment between business requirements and technical delivery while maintaining quality assurance across initiatives.

The BA Lead translates business needs into actionable system requirements and oversees QA processes to ensure high‑quality insurance technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a hybrid BA and QA team.
• Translate business and regulatory needs into functional specs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure feasibility and clarity.
• Domain knowledge in life insurance and policy administration systems.
• Mentor and coach BAs to raise standards in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering across business units.
• Translate requirements into functional/technical specs for devs.
• Collaborate with business users, PMs, architects, and developers.
• Oversee BRD/FSD creation and process-flow diagrams.
• Prioritize backlog to ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
• Provide domain expertise for life insurance regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate UAT and obtain sign-off from stakeholders.
• Identify process gaps and propose digital improvements.
• Mentor BAs to improve analytics and communication quality.
