Job summary

Oliver Wyman, a Marsh business, seeks a Data Governance professional to support firm-wide Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives, partnering with analysts across businesses to ensure core datasets reflect the business accurately.

You will help shape data practices, drive sourcing, analyzing and interpreting data, and work with stakeholders to implement DG guidelines and workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administrative activities for effective data management and data quality improvements.
• Assist in creating and maintaining core internal datasets (clients, employees, cost centers).
• Run data quality checks, identify issues, perform root-cause analysis, suggest remediation.
• Work on resolving data quality issues and document corrective actions.
• Follow guidelines and provide operational support for data management workflows.
• Collaborate with data architects, owners and consumers to align data practices with business needs.
• Support data dictionary and DG process documentation; maintain DG guidelines and reference lists.
• Coordinate changes in organizational structure reflected across DnA workflows and resources.
• Communicate DG standards and ensure stakeholder awareness and adherence.
• Assist in data migration activities, data cleansing and UAT testing.
• Provide periodic insights and status updates.
