Job summary

BTI Payments Philippines, Inc. is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data infrastructure for analytics, regulatory reporting, and digital financial services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Computer Science, BS Information Technology, or BS Information Systems, or related IT field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data warehousing, data integration, ETL/ELT development, or enterprise data platform solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable data models, pipelines, and trusted datasets.
• Design and build scalable ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and data modeling frameworks for high-volume analytics.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines supporting batch, near-real-time, and streaming data.
• Investigate data issues and optimize ETL/ELT performance for reports and data products.
• Implement data quality validation, monitoring, and auditing for warehouse reliability.
• Document data lineage, metadata, architecture, and pipeline logic.
• Collaborate with PMs, BAs, QA, Ops, and partners to deliver production-ready data solutions.
• Support DevOps practices for data pipelines (GitHub, CI/CD, deployment controls).
• Participate in Agile delivery activities such as sprint planning and stand-ups.
