Job summary

Outsourced.ph is seeking a data engineer with strong C#/.NET and Angular skills to design, develop, and maintain data solutions that support business and operational needs. You will work across data pipelines, backend services, and frontend interfaces to deliver scalable and secure data applications.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of data engineering or related experience, hands-on experience with REST APIs, SQL, ETL/ELT, and modern web development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related technical role.
• Strong programming experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with Angular and modern web application development.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data integration, and data transformation.
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and deployment practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C#/.NET.
• Build and enhance web applications and user interfaces using Angular.
• Develop data integrations between internal systems, databases, APIs, and third-party platforms.
• Work with relational and/or cloud-based databases to support data storage, transformation, and reporting requirements.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, security, and reliability across data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data, application, and integration issues.
• Optimize application and data-processing performance.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data analysts, business stakeholders, and other technical teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Follow software development and data engineering best practices, including version control and CI/CD.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing data platforms and applications.
