Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Analyst-GMMO-RVQ and R (Counterparty Credit Risk Analyst) to join our team in Manila, Philippines, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on risk identification across trading and risk portal interfaces and collaboration with risk control functions.

The position requires knowledge of credit and market risk concepts, VBA/Excel skills, and a degree in Finance, Economics, or Commerce.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or Commerce, or proven risk-management experience.
• Knowledge of credit and market risk concepts and regulations.
• Experience with risk systems and trading risk controls.
• Strong analytical and VBA/Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify breaks between front-end trading systems and risk portal systems for remediation.
• Investigate and report credit risk arising from trading activities against approved limits.
• Report and analyze causes of variation and address issues to correct them.
• Investigate and report credit risk arising from trading activities against utilizations shown in risk systems.
• Provide regular information to Traded Credit Risk Control managers on performance of the team.
• Interact with Traded Risk Control Managers to understand Risk systems and roadmap for offshore team.
