Job summary

Orange and Bronze Software Labs Ltd, Co. is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Engineer to hands-on design, deploy, automate, and support AWS infrastructure. The role enables application teams through CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.

Work setup is hybrid with on-site four days and one remote day, located in Makati City. The candidate should have 3–6+ years of AWS experience and strong scripting skills, along with CloudFormation or Terraform expertise.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience.
• Experience with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Solid understanding of networking, IAM, and AWS security controls.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CodePipeline).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, network controls, encryption, and logging.
• Support application deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Configure observability (metrics, logs, alerts) and participate in incident response.
• Optimize resource utilization and cost through rightsizing and automation.
• Collaborate with Architects and Infrastructure teams to implement approved designs.
• Document runbooks, SOPs, and deployment patterns.
