Emapta Global in the Philippines is seeking an Assistant Tax Manager with 4–5 years of Australian tax and accounting experience to lead and mentor an Australian tax team. You will contribute to strategic advisory engagements, review tax returns, and prepare financial statements for various entities.

The role offers hybrid work in Ortigas or Pasay, mentorship from senior leaders, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years Australian tax and accounting experience including roles like Assistant Tax Manager or Team Lead.
• 2+ years leading or managing an Australian tax/accounting team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business with Accounting major; CA/CPA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
• Develop and present tax planning strategies aligned with client needs and compliance requirements.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with standards.
• Coach junior accountants and share technical knowledge.
• Monitor workflow, quality, and delivery; maintain client records in systems.
