Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years Australian public practice accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting or related specialization; CA path preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax, compliance, and accounting standards.
• Proven ability to prepare and review tax returns and financial reports.
• Experience with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks advantageous; adapt to other systems.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance & Advisory: prepare and review tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
• Financial Reporting: prepare and review year-end financial statements and lead schedules.
• Client Management: manage a portfolio of business clients and provide tailored guidance.
• Team Support & Review: mentor junior staff and collaborate with managers on complex matters.
• Systems & Process Improvement: identify workflow improvements; ensure accurate data entry and compliance.
