Job description

Planate Management Groupis a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, USA with a technical support center in the Philippines that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies.

We are looking for HVAC Technician who will be supporting the Facilities and Maintenance Project in Subic, Zambales. As part of the facility team, you will be responsible for inspecting HVAC systems, electrical components of HVAC equipment, piped utility services, and general fire protection components.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and document maintenance issues on HVAC equipment
  • Consult the inspection team on the HVAC system and equipment status
  • Analyze HVAC systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and identify solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation
  • Attend regular meetings with the project team
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualification to be successful in the role:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC installation and/or repair
  • Must have an NCII HVAC or DOMRAC certificate
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, building products, construction details/design and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
  • Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
