JOB SUMMARY

The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies that support SnapMart Inc.’s business goals and culture. This role is both strategic and hands-on, managing daily HR operations while leading projects that shape long-term organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong business acumen and a passion for building high-performing teams in a digital retail setting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Organizational Development

  • Lead OD initiatives to support growth, innovation, and employee engagement.

  • Drive change management and ensure alignment of organizational structure with business strategies.

  • Facilitate workforce planning and succession planning across departments.

Employee Relations

  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

  • Manage employee concerns, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.

  • Act as the primary liaison for internal grievance handling and ensure consistent application of HR policies.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Develop and manage compensation strategies that attract and retain talent.

  • Oversee employee benefits, payroll coordination, and incentive programs.

  • Benchmark benefits and pay structures in the retail and eCommerce sectors.

Training and Development

  • Identify training needs and create programs to develop competencies aligned with business needs.

  • Roll out onboarding, upskilling, and leadership training initiatives.

  • Measure training effectiveness and encourage continuous learning.

Policy Management and Coordination

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and sister companies to ensure uniform policy updates and implementation.

  • Review, revise, and standardize policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs across all entities.

  • Ensure full documentation and communication of updated HR practices.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and develop a high-performing HR team.

  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and career development within the department.

  • Conduct regular reviews and performance check-ins with the HR team.

Compliance and Legal

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee compliance audits and employee documentation.

  • Mitigate legal risks through proactive policy enforcement and education.

Talent Acquisition

  • Work with department heads to plan and fill roles in a timely and strategic manner.

  • Oversee recruitment lifecycle, including employer branding and hiring campaigns.

  • Maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

Performance Management

  • Manage the performance evaluation process and provide tools for goal setting and feedback.

  • Align performance systems with business objectives and employee development plans.

  • Support leaders in conducting coaching and improvement conversations.

HR Data & Reporting

  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights for management decision-making.

  • Track key indicators such as employee turnover, retention, and engagement.

  • Prepare reports on HR initiatives, headcount, and workforce trends.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certifications (CHRP, CPHR, SHRM) is an advantage.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities.

  • Background in eCommerce, retail, or tech-driven environments preferred.

  • Strong understanding of HR operations, labor laws, and digital tools.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and data reporting tools.
