Our client in the fintech space is searching for an HR Manager to help elevate talent strategy and align it with their technology-driven growth.
Summary
Lead and direct all HR facets and functions such as recruitment, training, benefits administration, engagement, and employee relations. Plan and implement HR programs and initiatives within the framework of the global company’s objectives, policies and strategies. Coordinate with management in addressing employee needs, grievances and other HR concerns. Implement projects and directives of International HR locally. Implement AI driven initiatives to elevate the workforce.
Main Responsibilities:
Engagement & Relations
- Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Review and update company policies and Employee Handbook
- Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.
- Cultivates professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
- Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
- Advances human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Submit monthly HR metrics and reports such as cost-center and attrition.
- Track and monitor employee headcount and Turnover rate
- Participate in conference call with HR International US to provide updates and reports.
- Conduct new-hire employee orientation and exit interviews
- Conduct annual Employee Satisfaction Survey and provide interpretation of results and year-on-year analysis
- Provide advice to management and employees regarding all HR related concerns
- Develop and roll out work-life balance and employee well-being initiatives
- Build and deploy recognition and appreciation of employee contributions programs.
Recruitment
- Establish sourcing strategies across all positions for the data research, data labelling product, engineering, automation, and ingestion teams.
- Supports organization staff by establishing a sourcing, recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes.
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Manages human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Supervise and coordinate with Department Heads in all of their people requirement.
- Facilitate internal hiring and promotion process.
- Develop strategies and plans for recruitment and sourcing projects
- Create and update job descriptions for all positions in the company
- Create newly hired employee profile and system required accounts and log-ins
Compensation & Benefits
- Manages salary grade by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors.
- Implements employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; and designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
- Coordinate with Healthcare Management provider for healthcare package and benefit concerns
- Supervise the HR team and coordinate with other external contacts in organizing welfare services to all employees such as promotion of healthy lifestyle and wellness programs
- Ensure that escalated statutory benefit concerns are properly addressed and disseminate updates of government-mandated benefits to all employees
- Handle high level concerns pertaining to employee benefits, payroll, healthcare coverage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 8 years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
- At least 5 years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations
- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
- Experience in use of HR tools
- Experience with Fin-Tech companies is preferred
