Job summary

SPX PHILIPPINES INC. is seeking a qualified Safety Officer to lead safety training, ensure 5S compliance, and design health and safety programs for Shopee Xpress hubs and offices in Laguna.

The role requires 2–3 years of HSE experience, active OSH certifications, and strong communication with all levels of the organization. You will conduct audits, investigate incidents, liaise with authorities, and develop proactive policies while based in Cabuyao.

Qualifications

• Certified Qualified Safety Officer 2 with BOSH Training and 8 Hour Mandatory OSH Training.
• Certified Pollution Control Officer.
• 2–3 years of experience in HSE controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication, people skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
• Sense of urgency, proactiveness, and problem-solving for near misses and emergencies.
• Willing to work in Cabuyao, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and health training for all Shopee Xpress SOC employees.

• Ensure Shopee Xpress’ compliance with 5S and Good Housekeeping

• Create and design safety programs suitable for hubs and offices of Shopee Xpress

• Conduct weekly and monthly audit to all hubs to ensure policy compliance and safety of all employees

• Prepare safety audit and action plan per hub

• Conduct process and policy training/orientation for all new and existing employees of Shopee Xpress

• There's an eye for detail.

• Good interpersonal skills and can work with all levels in the org

• Preparing health and safety strategies and developing policies

• Liaising with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with mandatory regulations

• Can do Hazard Risk Assessment
