Job description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced HSE Officer to ensure the health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained across our operations. The HSE Officer will be responsible for promoting a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and reducing environmental risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions based on audit findings and safety incidents.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date HSE documentation, reports, and records.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist in emergency response planning and the implementation of contingency measures.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Collaborate with project teams to support safety compliance on-site.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or HSE discipline (from an accredited institution).
Professional Certifications:
  • Minimum NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.
  • Any additional HSE certifications are a plus.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE in the oil & gas or petrochemical EPC industry.
Skills:
