Job Description

- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local and industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and emergency response plans.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety practices.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure all permits and certifications are up to date.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness throughout the organization.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Health and Safety Manager should have:
- EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety & Health training certificate
- A degree in engineering, occupational health, or a related field.
- Proven knowledge of safety management systems and risk assessment methodologies.
- Familiarity with safety regulations in the energy and natural resources industry.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
